WinLINE Classic - Windows Plotting That Works. WinLINE is a Windows system printer driver that creates efficient HP-GL, DMPL, HP-GL/2 and HP-RTL output from standard Windows programs. WinLINE provides precise vector graphics rendering from Windows for all Hewlett Packard plotters from the earliest HPGL pen plotter through to current model DesignJets, and plotters and cutters from ENCAD, Calcomp, Océ, Xerox, Graphtec, Mutoh, Roland DG, IOLINE, Summagraphics, Houston Instruments, Gerber, Zund and other leading manufacturers. Generic HPGL and HP-GL/2 drivers create efficient plot files for engineering document management systems. Settings for line width and color translation give designers control over line rendering above and beyond the scope of CAD applications. TrueType fonts render on all devices and as vector outlines in HPGL files. WinLINE Classic is available now for Windows XP, 2000, NT4, 95, 98 and Me. I downloaded Winline demo for my old Draftmaster1, and 7550 plotter. Now they are running on win2000 and XP and I must say, for line drawings, Winline is quite amazing in controlling the plotter. The demo works good, so I have good expactations on the licenced version. Too bad these plotters are lessand less used anymore as the pictures look beautiful and sharp - nothing above a drafted drawing.
