Deadweight

Deadweight is a FREE graphical utility for working with General Hydrostatics (GHS™) geometry files. The goals of the software are as follows: • Provide 2-D and 3-D views of the vessel data contained in the geometry files. • Allow for exporting to different modelling and drawing software packages (Rhino™, AutoCAD™, etc...) • Easy to use for both Naval Architects and Vessel Owners PLEASE download a copy and provide lots of feedback on bugs or wishlist items. Of particular interest to Rhino users is the ability to export a GHS model to a Rhino file.

Excellent Plugin 1/16/2003
This is an excellent plugin for the naval architect and an very good companion to AutoHydro. GF files can be reviewed and checked in rendered 3d mode. Components like tanks can have different colors and be turned off. The 3d rotation and zoom is good. Try It !

il programma è ottimo, specie, per chi lavora molto con la geometria peccato che, secondo me, manca la fase di stampa.

Just have to add some more good stuff. Great for export of files to dwg and solid models through asci. Can also get volumes of modelled volumes very accurately and output the complete AutoHydro input file from a GHS model. Since the program is small and standalone, it is very easy to use and don't mess up your system.
